ACTOR
Bailey discovered her love for performance at a very young age through productions in her home town of Highlands, North Carolina. During her time at Rabun Gap – Nacoochee School, Bailey was able to explore her true passion for live theatre and further develop her skill-set in musical theatre and circus arts at both the high school and professional level. She went on to receive her BFA in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory. She also has experience in coaching children’s musical theatre acting, front of house management, and company management through a professional theatre in the mountains of North Carolina.
WRITER
While studying at Shenandoah, Bailey found a passion for writing and developing new works. Within the classroom, she furthered her growth as a writer, composer and lyricist through composition coachings with Broadway Music Director/Arranger Patrick Brady (The Producers, Young Frankenstein) and songwriting courses with Mark Meadows, a successful songwriter in the D.C. area. Outside of class, Bailey has written, performed, and music directed several pieces for an on-campus student group Playwrights, including two musical pieces she wrote (Benji and Enough). Through creating and developing new theatre, Bailey has discovered true meaning in her career as a theatre artist, musician, and storyteller. Honored by the opportunity to express new ideas and give voice to hidden perspectives on stage, Bailey strives to represent those untold stories in a fresh, new light.
